The Thurston County Planning Commission is going to hold a public hearing to receive input on a pair of Open Space Tax Program applications.
The program provides property tax reduction to owners of certain types of high quality, undeveloped land in exchange for maintaining the land in a rural, undeveloped state.
The meeting is being held after applicants at 23932 Peissner Road SE in Yelm and 19726 128th Ave. SE in Yelm applied for enrollment under the Farm and Agricultural Conservation Land category.
The public hearing on Gardner and McKown Open Space Tax Program Applications will be held on June 17 at 7 p.m. at the Thurston County Atrium Building, 3000 Pacific Ave. SE in Olympia or online via Zoom.
