Posted

Over 30 community organizations will join this year’s Thurston County Resource Fair on August 15, 2024. This free and open-to-all event will be held at the Thurston County Courthouse campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Attendees may use several free services, such as barber services, hot dog lunches, veterinary services, and mobile dog grooming services for unhoused dogs.

Health services include onsite Hepatitis C testing with a free $10 gift card (while supplies last) and the chance to sign up for social service programs through the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Medicare, and Apple Health information.

Free cellular phones will also be distributed to qualified individuals through A1 Lifeline, and attendees may claim free raffle prizes. Over 2,000 pounds of food donations will be distributed. The Olympia Lions Club is providing the free hot dogs.
