Time to weigh in on 2025 Comprehensive Plan for City of Lacey

The City of Lacey is entering the home stretch of its plan for guiding growth, development and public investment over the next 20 years. As a result, the city is now asking local residents and business owners to weigh in on the roadmap known as the 2025 Comprehensive Plan.

The plan addresses topics, such as compact development, climate resilience, economic vitality and land use through 2045. 

Community participation is viewed as a key ingredient to shaping the plan.

“This is your opportunity to influence how Lacey grows over the next two decades,” said Hans Shepherd, Senior Planner with the City of Lacey’s Community and Economic Development Department, in a statement. “Community feedback will help ensure the plan reflects local priorities and values.”

Local residents and business owners can click here to check out and use a policy review tool to go over draft goals and policies, as well as provide comments and additional guidance on the plan.
