Tours of historic downtown Olympia are being offered at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, the City of Olympia said in an announcement.
The tours are in honor of Historic Preservation Month, which carries a theme of "Power of Place." The tours will start and end at 203 Columbia St. SW.
"The one-hour tours will highlight Olympia’s history and historic buildings and require considerable walking. Each tour is limited to 20 persons," the city said in the announcement.
"The free tours are sponsored by the Olympia Arts + Heritage Alliance in partnership with the Olympia Heritage Commission and the Olympia Historical Society and Bigelow House Museum."
