Traffic closure at Rainier Road, Lacey Friday and Saturday

Lacey is warning motorists of road closures at Rainier Road SE from 66^th Avenue to 70^th Way SE starting Friday until Saturday, August 19.

According to the city’s social media post, construction crews will be paving the street along those areas from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flaggers standing by to direct traffic. Detours are available through Compass Street/ Radius Loop and Rich Road SE.

“Expect long delays. Please use alternate routes, if possible,” Lacey advised.
