The Thurston County Public Works Department has issued a public alert regarding anticipated traffic disruptions on Mullen Road SE, between Early Spring Drive SE and Afflerbaugh Drive SE in the southern area of Lacey, beginning Monday, March 11, and continuing until Wednesday, May 13.
The project entails the installation of offsite sewer connections, shoulder restoration, and a grind and overlay of the existing roadway.
To facilitate construction, traffic flow will be restricted to one lane in the affected area.
Flagging staff will be deployed to manage and direct vehicles through the construction zone.
To ensure motorists are informed about the upcoming work and anticipated delays, reader boards will be positioned along Mullen Road SE.
Commuters are advised to plan for extra travel time or explore alternative routes during the project's duration.
