Tumwater advised daytime travelers on Interstate 5 in Tumwater to plan their routes accordingly. Ramp closures are scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, and Wednesday, December 6.
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) maintenance crews will address concerns about trees along the roadway.
On Tuesday, December 5, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the on-ramp from 93rd Avenue Southwest to southbound I-5 will be closed, with the exit from northbound I-5 to Tumwater Boulevard to be closed from 8 a.m. to 12 noon the following day.
Travelers during these dates will be directed to follow the signed detour to navigate around the closure.
This maintenance work is scheduled during daylight hours for safety reasons.
