Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls re-opened to the public yesterday, with some new amenities and a new name -- but without new signs yet.

The Olympia Tumwater Foundation closed the park last year so it and the Department of Fish and Wildlife could construct new facilities.  New at the park is a redesigned salmon hatchery with fish viewing windows, and a completed Deschutes Valley trail that will links the city's Tumwater Historical Park with Brewery Park.

Expect more details in The JOLT soon.   The park is located at 110 Deschutes Way SW, Tumwater.

Cool article, but the included map (above) doesn't show the correct location of the park discussed in the story. The actual location of Brewery Park is on the opposite side of the road, several blocks south of the location marked.
