OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON—This family-friendly event will bring together several groups, organizations, and individuals at the forefront of the local movement for Black Lives.
They will share concerns with how the City of Olympia has responded to the movement, as well as their visions for how to transform our community to one that implements and progresses anti-racist policy and infrastructure at all levels.
A central feature will be their demands and a call of action to the city and elected officials. The evening will include community art and performances, as well as an open forum to hear from community members. Several community organizations will be invited to table at the event, and share their anti-racist work and resources.
