On Saturday, August 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Huntamer Park in Lacey.
The team is partnering with Manimou Camara, a master drummer and dancer from Guinea who now leads Dounia Djembe in Seattle, along with his team of performers.
It will be an opportunity to learn authentic dance steps straight from the source, and taste beloved West African classic peanut butter sauce, known as Tiga Deguè Nah in Mali.
You don’t need any experience. Just show up ready to move.
