A set of sunny spring days are going to give way to some wet and breezy weather as the workweek progresses in Thurston County.
The National Weather Service Office in Seattle forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of precipitation on Wednesday, May 13, with less than one-tenth of an inch possible.
Rain is likely before 1 p.m., and then a chance of precipitation after 3 p.m. with a southwest wind of 8 to 16 miles per hour (mph) and gusts as high as 25 mph.
The daytime high should be near 61 degrees or roughly 20 degrees cooler than the high on Tuesday, May 12. There is a 30 percent chance of rain on Wednesday evening, with an overnight low around 46 degrees and a south, southwest wind of 7 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.
The forecast also calls for a 20 percent chance of rain after 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, with a daytime high near 61 degrees and a west, southwest wind of 6 to 11 mph. There is a 40 percent chance of precipitation on Thursday evening, with an overnight low around 43 degrees.
Rain is also likely on Friday, May 15. Forecasts are subject to change.

with the hot weather coming over the upcoming decades, any cool weather in the late spring/early summer is going to always be welcomed by me
