“What We Can Do”: Panel Discussion with local immigrant-serving organizations

This week is the last opportunity to see Uncaged Art, an exhibit presenting photographs of the artwork of unaccompanied immigrant youth who were detained at Tornillo Detention Center in Texas. Join Kindra Galan, Educational Director, CIELO (Centro Integral Educativo Latino de Olympia), Dianna Torres Angulo, President, Hispanic Roundtable, Diana Perez, TOGETHER’s Community Schools Program Manager for Tumwater schools, and members of Strengthening Sanctuary Alliance. They will reflect on the exhibit and talk about actions we can take to support immigrant rights at the border and locally, to realize Olympia’s Sanctuary City commitment. Exhibit viewing 4:30-6; presentation at 6 p.m.
