Arts Walk, 50th Anniversary Exhibit: Fri-Sun., Oct 1 - Nov 14, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 

Throughout the month of October 60+ participating locations are opening their doors to creative happenings in Olympia. Meet artists, see performances, and connect with friends and family. For more information, click here. 

Period Action Days - Donation Collection: Sun-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri-Sat., Sept 12-Oct 10, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

Nearly one-quarter of teenage students and 1 in 10 college students in the US experience Period Poverty – which is the inability to access menstrual hygiene products. The donations of feminine hygiene products for girls and women will help fill the gap this school year until the new laws regarding provisions of hygiene materials in schools take effect next year. Boys & Girls Of Thurston County - Born to be wild Auction: Fri., Oct 1, 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

Born to be Wild proceeds support Boys & Girls Clubs after-school programs focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles and good character and leadership. For more information, click here. 

Advanced Full STEAM Ahead!: Thu., Oct 7, 4:00 p.m. - 7 p.m. 

Join Lacey Timberland Library for a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) themed activity and show and tell! Topics may include the weather, coding, architecture, and more. Click here for more information. 

SafePlace Birthday Bash!: Fri., Oct 8, 6:00 p.m. onwards. 

SafePlace is celebrating its 40th year as Thurston County's domestic violence and sexual assault services provider. Join them for a celebration with drinks, appetizers, raffle, auction, games, prizes and more. Click here to know more.  

Making Strides of SW Washington: Sat., Oct 9, 9:00 a.m. onwards. 

The American Cancer Society started Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks to unite communities in the fight against this deadly disease. Making Strides has always been more than just a walk, it’s a movement. Click here to know how you can join them.
