Babysitting course, Saturday, January 27, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
This course prepares 11-15-year-olds to care for infants and children safely. A dynamic, interactive, activity-based program provides the participant with numerous hands-on learning experiences. This course includes instruction in CPR, first aid techniques, problem-solving methods, and supervision. Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothing. Click this link for more details. 

Poetry of Place: A series of writing workshops, Friday, February 21, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
This seasonal writing workshop series will explore the poetics of place at Harbor House on Percival Landing. Each event will have a seasonal theme. Participants will be introduced to the poetics of place and given opportunities to write, reflect, and share, responding to prompts that connect us to our own home place here in Olympia.
