Olympia Harbor Days Maritime Festival (OHD), Weekend, September 1-3
South Sound Maritime Heritage Association (SSMHA) successfully reaches its 50th-year presentation of Olympia Harbor Days Maritime Festival (OHD), Labor Day weekend starting Friday, September 1 at 3 p.m. and closing Sunday, September 3 at 6 p.m. This maritime heritage festival takes place along Olympia’s Downtown Budd Inlet Waterfront Boardwalk from historic Percival Landing to the Port of Olympia’s Port Plaza Park. This year’s event continues highlighting the traditions of Puget Sound’s vintage tugboat races. It shows, along with historic ships, tribal activities, four makers markets, live entertainment, kids activities, and two food G’Alleys, all weekend. Click this link for more details.

First Fridays at the Depot, Friday, September 1, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Love Local Events is bringing their entertaining Night Market experience to the Lacey Depot Park with First Fridays beginning with Cinco de Mayo at the Depot! Enjoy your favorite food trucks, live music, entertainment, artists, and local businesses all in one place! This event is family-friendly and free to attend. Click this link for more details.

‘Restructured’ exhibit at Childhood End’s Gallery, August 4 - September 4
Featuring over thirty artworks, Restructured showcases five Pacific Northwest artists who use various collage techniques and/or imagery in their process and finished work. The latest exhibition has much to explore through a dedicated use of recycled material, traditional paper-cutting, reassembling experimentation, or contemporary digitally-influenced design processes. Restructured features two new artists to its gallery space, Bella Kim and Mary Lane, alongside returning favorites Amy FisherNikki McClure, and Aki Sogabe. Click this link for more details.

Secondhand Safari – Fall 2023, Weekend, September 8-9, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Shop or host your booth by visiting the website and sending in an application!  There are NO admission or parking fees for shoppers! This event is FREE to shop. Tickets are not required, and people posting 'tickets for sale' should be marked as spam. Indoor & outdoor spaces are available. Proceeds from booth rentals will help fund Fair Foundation projects, restorations, and improvements to the Thurston County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds are visited by thousands of community members every year and are the home of youth 4-H, FFA, and other development projects. Click this link for more details.
