What’s happening this week— entertainment activities

The new year is starting to get more interesting with some comedy and music shows, along with specialized classes.

Black Box Jazz: Nelda Swiggett & Megabopolis, Friday, Jan. 10

Stream Team 35th Anniversary Celebration & Volunteer Appreciation Party, Saturday, Jan. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Drop-in Lactation Support Group, Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to noon

Comedy Underground, Thursday, Jan. 16, from 7:30 p.m.
Comedy Underground is back to make you laugh. Each event features a new slate of touring comedians who are sure to make you laugh out loud! Recommended for ages 18+. Click this link for more details.

Intro to Machine Sewing, Thursday, Jan. 16, 4-5 p.m.
Visit the Lacey Library meeting room for an introduction to basic sewing with a machine. Attendees will go over the functions of the machine, safety and helpful tools. After the demonstration, a limited number of sewing machines will be available for use. Click this link for more details.
