District Flower Show (LACEY)
-Friday, April 11, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Join this National Garden Club Standard Flower Show presented by Olympia Garden Club. The show is open to the public at no cost.

¡Día! Literacy Fair (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, April 11, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Visit the Olympia Timberland Library for a drop-in afternoon of activities, crafts and games focused on literacy. Come to the library to read, sing, write, talk, play and celebrate all children and families!

Juror’s Invitational Exhibit (OLYMPIA)
-April 7 – May 2
The Juror’s Invitational Exhibition returns to the Leonor R. Fuller Gallery for the eighth year from April 7 to May 2. Award-winning artists from the 2024 Southwest Washington Juried Exhibition, selected by juror Susan Christian, are invited back to show new work in this group exhibition.

Stride for Sight 5k 10k and one-mile run or walk (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m.
Join a new 5K, 10K, and 1-mile run and walk suitable for both experienced runners and beginners. Runners will step off at 9 a.m. on April 12 for this USTAF Certified run along the Chehalis Western Trail. Early bird registration is open now at $35 until March 31.

2nd Dance to the Music of the Forest (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, April 12, 10-11:30 a.m.
Join this second outdoor community dance with friends and family of all ages. Dance to the music of trees singing in real time. A special device, called Plants Play, converts the tree’s electric signals into notes; the music will be amplified for dancers and audience alike.

Meditation and Modern Buddhism: Ancient Wisdom for Today's World (OLYMPIA)        
-Sunday, April 12, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
In this half-day course with Rob Lutz, participants will take a practical look at Buddha’s wisdom teachings and how they can be applied to modern life. This class is perfectly suited for people seeking solutions within Buddhism, as well as for encouraging practitioners of all faiths to deepen their understanding and practice of the spiritual path.
