There are a number of events happening in Thurston County this weekend, including the Harvest Festival and South Sound Optimism Walk.

A Sale For All Seasons Bazaar (OLYMPIA)
Friday-Saturday, Oct. 3-4, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Explore beautifully handcrafted items for all occasions and holidays. The event has free admission and some free parking. Food Bank donations are also accepted.

Thurston Conservation District's Harvest Festival (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Enjoy workshops, kids crafts, apple pressing, live music, contests and more.

2025 South Sound Optimism Walk (LACEY)
Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10:30 a.m.
Be part of something impactful — gather your friends, family or coworkers and create a team, join a team, or walk as an individual in the 2025 American Parkinson Disease Association Northwest Chapter’s South Sound Optimism Walk in Lacey.

Death Disco (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Noam Paco Gaster and Friends will be offering a set of embodiment invitations aimed at co-creating a web of loving acceptance and support for whatever is surfacing from the events.

Talking Headstones (TUMWATER)         
Sunday, Oct. 5, 1-3 p.m.
Daughters of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution will give rotating talks on eight of the local community founders buried in the cemetery.
