There are a number of events taking place this weekend in Thurston County, including the Olympia Bonsai Club Spring Exhibit and Lacey Spring Fun Fair.

Lacey Spring Fun Fair (LACEY)
Weekend, May 16-17, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Enjoy rides, games, live entertainment, activities, plus plenty of food and artisan vendors! The 2026 fun includes pony rides, the giant slide, the circus train and swings, plus an inflatable obstacle course and more inflatable activities for kids.

Olympia Ecosystems Habitat Restoration Work Party (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, May 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The May volunteer work party will once again be in the West Bay Woods. This is the last spring work party. There will be snacks, coffee and tea.

Olympia Bonsai Club - Spring Exhibit (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, May 16, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Olympia Bonsai Club will be having its spring show. Come see a variety of beautiful bonsai trees that have been carefully nurtured over the years.

Kitten Shower (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, May 16, 2-4 p.m.
Join the Kitten Shower hosted by Oly Camp Kitties. There will be a photo booth, snacks, drinks and kittens.

Grand Mound Farmers and Crafters Market (CENTRALIA)
Sundays, May 17-Oct. 11, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Grand Mound Farmers and Crafters Market is an independent, local market at the intersection of Old Highways 9 and 99 in Grand Mound.

Singing in the Park Concert and Picnic (OLYMPIA)
Sunday, May 17
The Olympia Peace Choir and its sister choir, Treble Voices for Peace, present Singing in the Park, Concert and Picnic, at noon at Huntamer Park. Come spend some time listening to joyful harmonies. The concert is free and family-friendly.
