Thurston County is rich in fascinating folkloric and historic tales that thrive in the fog, trees, mountains and water. These stories reflect the community's beliefs, customs, values and fears.
Death Cafe at the Olympia Library (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, Sept. 6, 2-3:30 p.m.
At a Death Cafe, people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. The objective is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.
Grand Oly Opry (OLYMPIA)
