Native Plant Salvage’s Winter Twig Field ID Class is back on Sunday, January 25, and it’s a fan favorite for a reason!
This walking workshop invites participants to learn how to identify 20–25 native trees and shrubs in their winter twig form, turning “stick season” into a whole new way to appreciate the natural world.
Choose either a morning session (10–12:30 p.m.) or afternoon session (1–3:30 p.m.) and gain practical identification skills you can use year-round—plus a handy cheat sheet to take home.
Perfect for anyone looking to deepen their connection to nature during the quieter winter months.
