Unfortunately, both will probably be out by the time this article is written. If not on bail, the judge will set them free with a slap on the wrist. I feel bad for the person that owns the stolen vehicle and the mini cooper that was damaged. These two thief’s will never pay restitution and the victim’s insurance will have to cover. Not to mention taxpayers paying for the damaged patrol car. It seems harsh in this day and age, but chain gangs and mandatory public service should be utilized again.
