A man who has been accused of thousands of dollars of property damage in recent months, allegedly broke a large window at a local convenience store, on Mon., Sept.20.
Adan Rincon, 38, a transient, was arrested by law enforcement only a day prior to his scheduled community court opt-in hearing at Olympia Municipal Court on numerous other vandalism and theft charges.
Olympia police officers arrived at the Lucky 7 Food Store at 1026 4th Ave E and then watched as Rincon walked toward them, screaming “Arrest me, I don’t care” and then proceeded to yell statements officers reported were about the state of Oregon, being “raped” and other comments unprintable on this news site.
The owner of the Lucky 7 Food Store told police that Rincon had broken the store’s window prior to the police arriving at the store, and that a customer witnessed the event.
Rincon allegedly threw a rock through the front windowpane of the business, causing an estimated $1,000 worth of damage.
Rincon was booked into the Olympia iail for felony property damage.
