Last day to vote on area school levies

Posted

Tuesday’s the last day for voters in eight Thurston County school districts to turn in their ballots on any of several kinds of school-related measures.

Replacement levies are authorizations by voters to continue to collect taxes that would otherwise expire.

This link takes you to The Local Voters’ Pamphlet issued by the Thurston County Auditor.

Here’s a rundown:

Griffin School District

Griffin voters have two levies to consider, for “Education Programs and Operations Replacement” and “Capital Projects and Technology Replacement.” The former will assess property owners $1.64 to $1.75 per $1,000 of assessed value from 2025 through 2028.
