In a press release by the city’s Parks, Arts & Recreation, 72 pieces were submitted by local artists of all ages, which the public can vote on the city’s Engage Olympia website until the end of February.

“The ten images with the most votes are printed as vinyl canvases and installed on traffic boxes around town,” Olympia announced.

There are currently 66 traffic box wraps throughout Olympia from previous competitions.

“Winning Traffic Box Wraps will be announced in spring 2023 and installed this summer,” furthered the city, with the winners to receive a $500 honorarium.
