Olympia searching for Arts Walk artists to do promo

Olympia is making a call out for artists who will have their work featured in the city’s Arts Walk.

The city plans to commission two artists to create new, original works of art to be displayed as posters and Arts Walk-related publications during their spring or fall Arts Walk events.

Chosen artists will be paid $750 paycheck to create new pieces and will be featured, the city website said, in varied ways, such as being:

• Highlighted through exclusive in-studio interviews
• On the City's website & social media platforms
• In press interviews
• Promoted with event marketing and publications

Applicants can look up their eligibility and requirements and apply on the Arts Walk website until applications close on Wednesday, November 30, at 11:45 p.m.
