SPSCC Trustee Steven Drew reappointed

South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) has announced that Steven J. Drew has been reappointed by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee to the college's Board of Trustees.

The reappointment, effective as of October 26, 2023, secures Trustee Drew's position on the board until September 30, 2028.

Trustee Drew has been a dedicated member of the SPSCC Board since his initial appointment in November 2018 and currently holds the position of vice chair.

"I am honored by Governor Inslee's reappointment of me as a trustee for this great institution," expressed Drew. "SPSCC plays a vital role in our region. We deliver affordable and equal opportunities for every potential student's advancement. I look forward to serving another five years as a trustee."

In addition to his role at SPSCC, Trustee Drew serves as the Thurston County Assessor.

He is the former owner of Steven J. Drew and Associates and has been an active member of various community organizations, including the Recreation and Conservation Funding Board.

Drew supports several initiatives, such as Pizza Klatch, Olympia Kiwanis, and the Olympia Kiwanis Food Bank Garden.
