Beginner Square Dance Lessons, September 15, from 6:30 P.M. to 8:15 P.M.

Square Dance lessons – good fun and exercise in a friendly atmosphere. It is held on Thursday evenings at Lac-A-Do Hall, 1721 46th Ave NE, Olympia. Couples, singles, and families are welcome. No experience is necessary. Click this link for more details. 

Love Local Presents The Enchanted Fae Festival, September 15, from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.

Join them for an evening of Faerie Enchantment at Huntamer Park in the heart of Lacey, WA on Thursday, September 15, 5-9pm. They had so much fun with the  Pirates and Faeries last year, they decided to do it again. But this time they will have some surprises in store for all the visitors! Patterns: How to Make and Use Them, September 15, from 3:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.

Learn basic design elements and vocabulary with Deborah Smith. Explore patterns, fractals, tesselations, seamless patterns & more! Learn how patterns are used in art & crafts to enhance work. $15 per person. Ages 12- adult. All materials provided. Gala Opening Reception - ARTrails of Southwest Washington 2022 Studio Tour, September 16, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.

ARTrails is a community of emerging and established artists who live and work in the greater Lewis County area. Through the annual Studio Tour, held the 3rd and 4th weekends of September, ARTrails provides an opportunity for the public to meet artists in their studio/workplace and to observe works in progress and purchase work directly from the artists. Olympia Low Vision Fair, September 17, from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

The first annual Olympia Vision Fair will be held at the Olympia Center, September 17, 2022 from 9:00am-4:00pm. The free event will provide opportunities to meet and be inspired by other people in our community with vision loss, feature speakers on emerging assistive technologies, and bridge connections to resources and adaptive devices. Olympia Musical Theatre's Cabaret Fundraiser: 1000 Beautiful Things, September 18, from 4:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. 

Olympia Musical Theatre's Second Annual Cabaret Fundraiser will occur Sunday, September 18th. Food service begins at 4 p.m. The performance will begin at 5 p.m. It will be a wonderful evening filled with friends, food, fun, and great music under the direction of Troy Arnold Fisher. Held at beautiful The Albee's Garden Parties, this is a donation-based event with no ticket purchase necessary. Anyone who enjoys an exciting cabaret performance in an enchanting garden is invited. TVW Open Golf Tournament, September 20, from 9:30 A.M.- 7:00 P.M. 

Join TVW, Washington's Public Affairs Network, at the 4th Annual TVW Open Golf Tournament at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie in Lacey on Tuesday, September 20. The tournament is a Best Ball-Shotgun start event with a tee time of 12 noon. Registration opens at 10:30am. Great prizes will be awarded for the top teams and individuals in fun contests. League of Women Voters of Thurston County - DEI & Justice Committee Meeting, September 21, from 5:30 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. 

Meet author Marilyn Morgan, of newly published “Trailblazing Black Women of Washington State.” The book features more than 20 past and present trailblazers, including Evergreen State College professor and founder of Tacoma TESC campus Dr. Maxine Mimms and Dr. Dolores Silas. Dr. Silas was the first Black woman principal in the Tacoma school district. Tacoma’s Woodrow Wilson High School was renamed in her honor last year. Living Well Living Long Health & Wellness Expo, September 22, from 8:30 A.M.- 2:00 P.M. 

Living Well Living Long is BACK LIVE again!  This year they will revisit the Westminster Presbyterian Church on Boulevard Road in Olympia focusing on the theme of  "Aging Is Better Than Ever"!  They expect over well 25 SAN member businesses to participate, providing resources and giveaways for attendees.  There will be Speakers in the Fellowship Hall with breakout sessions elsewhere in the church throughout the day.  Fall Risk Assessments will be available FREE all morning (from 8:30 - 12:00 noon): this event is held in conjunction with National Fall Prevention Awareness Day.
