Concern For Animals Spring Plant & Gift Sale, Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

All the plants available at the sale have been grown and cared for by board members, volunteers, and CFA supporters. A few guest vendors will join this year. All vendors have committed to donating some of their sales back to CFA. This event is pet and family-friendly. Money raised at the Spring Plant & Gift sale goes directly towards their operating cost, ensuring that they can continue to help local pets and the people who love them. Pirate Ship Parade at Boating Opening Day, Saturday, May 11, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

The Olympia Yacht Club (OYC) welcomes boats, especially pirate-decorated boats for its Pirates of Budd Bay annual opening day parade Saturday, May 11. Landlubbers can view the parade starting at 12:30 Saturday from the Percival Landing boardwalk or Port Plaza Park, and while there visit the Olympia Wooden Boat Fair.  Click this link for more details.

 

The 10th Annual Pizza Klatch Gayla: In the Queer Future, Saturday, May 11, 7 p.m.

The Pizza Klatch Gayla is a community concert, fundraiser, and celebration that provides not only much-needed funding to help Pizza Klatch continue to support queer and trans youth for years to come, but also provides a space for the youth we serve to share their stories and creativity. Click this link for more details.
