Meet other people, join information sessions, and take the kids for a stroll this weekend in Thurston County.

Under the Big Top Community Resource Fair (TUMWATER)
-Friday, March 21, 12-2 p.m.
Stop by the fair to get connected to local organizations, nonprofits and government agencies. You can get your questions answered in person or sign up for services. The event is free and open to the public.

Free In-Person Tax Preparation (LACEY)
-Friday, March 21, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will offer free tax preparation in Thurston County this year, with appointments ending on April 15, 2025. Visit the Panorama Chalet Apartments for assistance.

Countdown to Kindergarten (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, March 22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
The event is open to all parents and guardians who have children entering kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. Attendees will learn about transitioning to kindergarten, and enjoy activities in the P.E. and arts booths, along with other informational activities.

OlyEcosystems Habitat Restoration Work Party in West Bay Woods (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, March 22, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Join the next Volunteer Work Party to continue removing invasive English ivy. Please bring work gloves and pruners if available, although the team has them if needed. Snacks and coffee will also be available.

Spring Break: Frogs & Fairies (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, March 22 to April 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Leap into spring break with a sprinkle of fairy dust and a splash of froggy fun! Step into the magical world of Frog Hollow, where enchantment awaits at every turn. Craft dazzling fairy wings, fold frogigami, build fairy homes, meet the Bayou Princess & Tinker Fairy from Emerald Kingdom Parties, and enjoy even more surprises.

Sacred Saturdays with a Therapist (TUMWATER)
-Saturday, March 22, 11 a.m.-2 p.m
This free workshop series is designed to provide accessible, meaningful tools to help you thrive. Each month, Dr. Bre will guide participants through engaging sessions filled with insights, practical tips, and powerful resources to support your mental health journey.

Dancing with the Eagles Open House (OLYMPIA)
-Saturday, March 22, 4-11 p.m.
Join the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Olympia Aerie #21, for a membership open house on March 22. There will be free intro dance lessons, karaoke and more.

Over the Edge Registration (LACEY)
-Open until June 28
