There are a number of events taking place in Thurston County this weekend, including a quilt show in Lacey and a fall gala in Tumwater.

Saturday, Oct. 11, 9-12 p.m.
Attend the 1st annual Fall Fest with Lavon Blue at Forza Coffee Company. This is a free admission, family-friendly community celebration.

The Stars Are Aligned in 2025 Quilt Show (LACEY)
Weekend, Oct. 10-11, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Washington Stars Quilt Guild is celebrating their 25th anniversary with an amazing quilt show.

2025 South Sound Optimism Walk (LACEY)
Saturday, Oct. 11, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
The cost of housing, health care, cooling and heating, transportation, food and utilities is all rising. Come to the event to discuss ideas and concerns you have for communities that live, work, and play in the City of Tumwater.

Co-Creating Art with Nature (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, Oct. 11, 1-3 p.m.
Visit Squaxin Park for a creative outdoor experience using only leaves, pine cones, stones, and sticks to craft temporary works of art.

Annual Fall Gala (TUMWATER) 
Saturday, Oct. 11, from 5 p.m.
Enjoy an elegant meal, fine wine, musical entertainment, compelling speakers and exciting silent and live auctions.

Health Heroes: Strategies for Longevity and Vitality
Sunday, Oct. 12, 2:30-5:30 p.m.
This unique gathering celebrates individuals in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond, who continue to thrive, defy limits and inspire others to live healthier, more active lives.
