There are a number of events happening this weekend in Thurston County, including the Lacey Rotary Duck Dash and Oly Downtown Butt Pickup.

"Dream Logic” Group Fine Art and Craft Exhibition (OLYMPIA)
Until June 7, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
The exhibit will feature works from artists Torrey Dasmann, Valency Genis, Gumaelius Family, Joelle Montez and Shannon Richardson.

Lacey Rotary Duck Dash (LACEY)
Saturday, June 6, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The 37th annual event will have even more fun planned for the whole family. Expect Duck Dash ticket raffle, music, kids' area, vendors, car show, food, beer garden and more.

the color of indigo (OLYMPIA, LACEY, TUMWATER)
Until June 26, 12-4 p.m.
"(T)he color of indigo" is a mixed media, multidisciplinary exhibit showcasing works made by and about mixed heritage artist Harrison Hannon. The exhibition features photographs of Hannon and his family by Bill Purcell and David Hoekje, autobiographical sculptural pieces by Hannon, as well as paintings by Hannon and Velva Kelly.

Native Plant Tea Party (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, June 6
You are cordially invited to a tea party, where you will sip, savor and celebrate the wonders of native plants. Taste teas brewed with native plants and make some stylish crafts so you can take the tea party with you.

Canoe Families Celebration (OLYMPIA)
Sunday, June 7, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Chehalis Canoe Journeys, Nisqually Canoe Family, Puyallup Canoe Family, and Skokomish River Road Canoe Family and Parks partner to offer this event to raise awareness of the rich cultural heritage of the tribes.

Oly Downtown Butt Pickup (OLYMPIA)
Saturday, May 15-June 26, 12-4 p.m.
Join Surfrider Olympia for a downtown Oly butt pickup. You will spend just an hour picking up toxic cigarette butts before they get washed into the Puget Sound.
