A woman is accused of assault, eluding law enforcement, possessing a stolen vehicle, and driving under the influence (DUI) was arrested again after a high-speed chase with authorities on October 10.

The suspect, who was booked with these charges after ramming TCSO patrol vehicles, was released after giving her commitment to return to court.

Thurston County Sheriff's Office stated in a social media post that their deputies assisted Chehalis Tribal Police after a suspected vehicle associated with a vehicle prowl case in the Rochester area fled when authorities attempted to stop the said vehicle.

The suspect vehicle intentionally swerved into the oncoming lane, endangering the life of a deputy who had to maneuver to avoid a head-on collision.

"A pursuing deputy conducted a PIT (precision immobilization technique) maneuver on the exit 88 overpass to prevent the suspect vehicle from fleeing onto Interstate 5 (I-5)", TCSO stated.

The suspect vehicle responded by ramming another patrol car before reversing and striking a patrol vehicle with the open passenger door.

Law enforcement officers immobilized the suspect's vehicle, ultimately leading to the suspect's arrest.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle in question had been reported stolen.

The female suspect faces multiple charges, including three counts of assault in the 1st degree, possession of a stolen vehicle, attempt to elude law enforcement, and DUI, in addition to the charges she was already facing before this incident.

The woman suspect reportedly had a long criminal history, including failure to appear in court five times and carrying 17 prior criminal convictions, encompassing offenses such as making false statements, theft, burglary, assault, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, possession of drugs, and felony retail theft.

Despite all these charges, Thurston County Superior Court recently released the female suspect without setting bail after promising to return to court during her schedule to appear.

It would be a public service for the Olympian to identify who released this person that failed to report to court FIVE TIMES! With an election coming up knowing who allowed this.
