2023 Zonta of Olympia- Hotel Olympian Gala Extravaganza, Saturday, September 16
Jenny Greenlee & Daven Tillinghast direct an all-star cast for Zonta’s World Premiere of “The Hotel Olympian Grand Gala Extravaganza” by local playwright Bryan Willis. Join this recreation of the 1920 post-pandemic grand gala celebrating the opening of the Hotel – and find out how Olympia saved the Capitol from the would-be usurpers in Tacoma and Seattle—all this and ten superb songs from 1920. Tenino Railroad Day, Saturday, September 16
Last year's Tenino Railroad Day was so much fun, and the Tenino Depot Museum will do it again! The Northern Pacific Railroad drove in the final spike in the sleepy Scattercreek Valley in October of 1872 and named the Depot "Tenino." From there, a town was born. Voter Registration Training, Saturday, September 16, from 10 a.m.
The Community Engagement Ministry of New Life Baptist Church (NLBC) in Lacey has invited several organizations for a Voter Registration Training Session. This training session is open to all community members and is a non-partisan activity. The League of Women Voters will facilitate the training with the support of the Thurston County Auditor’s Office – Election Division. Click this link for more details.

Art materials will be provided, but participants may bring their own. Please bring your own snacks and beverages. The sessions are 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., & 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Registration is encouraged but not required and you are welcome to attend more than one session.
