19th Annual SPSCC Student Art Exhibition, May 13-June 14
The exhibition will showcase the exceptional talent of SPSCC’s students in various artistic mediums. Throughout the 2023-24 academic year, students have produced remarkable pieces across a diverse range of mediums, including ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, digital photography, mixed media, 2D and 3D design exercises, and sculpture. Amélie, May 17 – 26
Amélie is based on a French film that follows the tale of a young lady who forges waves of joy and mayhem through her imagination and acts of kindness. After love presented a chance, she embarked on a self-discovery journey, welcoming risks that came along in the pursuit of happiness. Click this link for more details. 

Workshop: Photography in the Park, Saturday, May 18, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
This workshop will be a photo walk through Historical Park and Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls. Network with other photographers and take photos of whatever strikes your fancy in the two parks. Click this link for more details.

 Inspiring Generations: Celebrating the First Women's Olympic Marathon Trials, Weekend, May 17 - 19, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Join Club Oly Road Runners to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first women's Olympic marathon trials in Olympia, WA in 1984. This was a huge milestone in women's running. Click this link for more details.

Ratapalooza, Saturday, May 18
Ratapalooza involves a standards show (think cat or dog show on a much smaller scale), a fun pet show, and plenty of learning and socializing opportunities with other rat lovers. Additionally, there are lots of vendors of hammocks, supplies, unique arts and crafts, and a raffle that celebrates rats as pets, not pests. Click this link for more details.

Lacey Spring Fun Fair, Weekend, May 18-19, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Fun Fair is THE place to be for free fun!  Enjoy live entertainment, kids' activities, rides like the giant slide and swings, the circus train, and more all FREE!  Saturday there will be a S.T.E.M. Fair with lots of cool stuff to check out and enjoy the car show on Sunday!  Shop from lots of great vendors and enjoy a tasty treat or lunch from one of the amazing food vendors! Click this link for more details.
