The first few weeks of the month have given us a handful of fun and excitement. Watch out for another week packed with nature, art, and music.

12th Night: Free Outdoor Theatre featuring William Shakespeare, Fridays-Sundays

Olympia Lamplighters Watercolor Class, August 19, 2022

Tumwater Artesian Brewfest, August 20, from 1:00 P.M.
There will be more than 100 beverage choices in all, not to mention delicious food, fun games, and captivating entertainment. The Tumwater Artesian Brewfest provides a unique outdoor venue (in the shadow of the former Olympia Brewery) for you to SIP craft beers from 40+ NW breweries along with cider, wine, and spirits; SAVOR food from local vendors and restaurants; and PLAY super-sized beer pong, putt putt golf, enter stein holding competitions, and more! LoveOly SummerFest, August 20, from 1:00 P.M.

South Sound Block Party, August 26-27, from 3:00 P.M.  to 10:30 P.M.
Toyota of Olympia presents the inaugural South Sound Block Party: 15 live bands (nationally touring and locals!), local food trucks and pop ups, a beer garden games and more all along the shores of the beautiful Puget Sound. The Hampton Alzheimer Center Car Wash Fundraiser, August 27, from 10:00 A.M.
The Hampton is a secure environment that promotes a feeling of safety and comfort which encourages social engagement. Its buildings had been designed to exclusively serve residents with Alzheimer's and other dementias. The community architecture and decor are based on dementia research and purpose-built to optimize residents' perception and cognition.  Help support the HAMPTON ROCKSTARS raise funds to end Alzheimer's by attending its carwash.
