The end of February will be filled with art and merriment! 

Queerotica Art Exhibit, Friday, February 23, 5:30 – 9 p.m.
Queerotica is a showcase of LGBTQIA2S+ artists and speakers celebrating diverse sexual expression and promoting healing. The event features 2D art, sculptures, and virtual projections, accompanied by speakers, intermittent music, and mood lighting, setting an inviting and sensual tone for the event. The Total Package, select dates, 7 – 9 p.m.
Olympia band nightmayor presents The Total Package, an Original, Reality TV Musical Comedy! Inspired by the mass proliferation of Reality Romance shows, The Total Package features the classic musical formula of catchy songs, enthusiastic dancing, outlandish characters, and some darker twists that reflect the modern media era. With a cast predominantly performing in drag, The Total Package is an over-the-top romp through the uncanny valley. Click this link for more details.

Renaissance Bingo, Friday, February 23
Join a Renaissance Bingo at the Olympia Senior Center. Doors open at 6 p.m., games start at 7 p.m. Must be 21+. $25 cash at the door to play. This is a first come, first served cash-only event. As usual, there will be a bar with all of the amenities. Cash only! Click this link for more details.

Variations on Falling, February 23-25, March 3
The South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) Theatre Collective presents the first staging of Variations on Falling at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Black Box from Feb. 23 to March 3, 2024. Variations on Falling by F.K. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, Saturday, February 24, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

It’s that time of year again, tax season is upon us! If you need help filing your taxes, take advantage of Saint Martin's University's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. This is a free service open to the entire community. Available every Saturday until April 13 in Harned Hall on the Lacey campus. Click this link for more details.

 

Fortress of The Bear + Vonnie Kyle + Purusa, Saturday, February 24, 9 - 11:45 p.m.
A night of northwest rock music! Popular Seattle rock band Fortress of The Bear invades Olympia for a night of rock n' roll. They will be joined by Portland's long-time rock favorites Purusa, renowned for their soulful vocals and cri-sp guitar stylings.
